Two men were charged with trespassing after climbing onto a beam of the Brooklyn Bridge early Saturday Morning

The two men from Connecticut were charged Saturday morning after climbing a beam located on the Brooklyn side of the bridge around 6 a.m., according to NBC 4.

According to police, the two men wanted scale the bridge to take photographs. CBS 2 reports the two men allegedlywanted to take photos of the sunrise. They were both taken into custody by police.

Sean Cody, 25, of Southport, and Scott Lockett, of New Canaan, Connecticut each face charges of criminal trespass and reckless endangerment, according to police.
