On Monday, thousands of people are expected to participate this year in the 43rd annual Village Halloween Parade in Manhattan and the Park Slope Halloween Parade in Brooklyn. Several streets in Manhattan and Brooklyn will be closed to accomodate the Halloween celebrations.
The following streets in Manhattan will be closed from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. for the Village Halloween Parade: The following streets in Brooklyn will be closed from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. for the Park Slope Halloween Parade:
Manhattan
•6th Avenue between Canal Street and 18th Street
•Dominick Street and Spring Street between Varick Street and 6th Avenue
•Sullivan Street between 6th Avenue and Spring Street
•Broome Street between Sullivan Street and Varick Street
•16th Street to 18th Street between 5th Avenue and 7th Avenue
Brooklyn
•7th Avenue between 14th Street and 3rd Street
•4th Street between 8th Avenue and 7th Avenue
•3rd Street between 7th Avenue and 5th Avenue

The Village Halloween Parade will begin at 7 p.m. and start at Canal Street and Sixth Avenue and make its way to 18th Street.
The Park Slope Halloween Parade will begin at 6:30 p.m. and start at 7th Avenue and 14th Street in Brooklyn.
