The NYPD is asking for the public’s help to find a man wanted in connection with a fatal shooting in East Harlem Monday night.

Corey Brown, 39, was found shot in the torso at East 132 Street and Madison Avenue just before midnight, police said. He later died at Harlem Hospital. 

Investigators were able to recover some nearby surveillance footage the department shared with the public Friday night.

The suspect is described as a black male, 5 feet. 7 inches to 5 feet, 9 inches tall, in his twenties, wearing a red hoodie sweatshirt and jeans.

Anyone with information about the suspect’s identity is urged to contact the department’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website.
