It was the tale of two cheerleading squads Monday night during the National Championship game between Oregon and Ohio State (won 42-20 by Ohio State).

One poor Ohio State cheerleader was nearly trampled by Buckeyes players as they rushed onto the field. The above photos captured by Getty photographer Tom Pennington are shocking. Thankfully, the cheerleader - who was so amped she was actually smiling as 250-pound men galloped over her - was said to be unharmed.

Also trending Monday night was "Oregon cheerleading coach" because of this photo. The photo is actually from 2009, but no one really cared. At first it was speculated that the photo was of current Ducks head coach Dana Guthrie, but the sleuths at uncovered that it is actually self-described entrepreneur and host of "Life Beyond the League," Corine Lewis. Here's the Google image gallery of Lewis. and her Twitter page @CorineLewis.
