Strong winds may have played the part in the death of a Teaneck New Jersey building manager, who took a fatal seven-story fall on Tuesday.

Clifford Lemay, 57, was found in the courtyard of the Glenpointe Complex on Frank Burr Boulevard just after 7 a.m., ABC7 reported.

According to CBS3, he was on the building’s roof checking for damage following high winds from the night before when he fell.

“At this time, it appears that Mr. Lemay’s death can be attributed to a horrific accident and no foul play is suspected,” Teaneck Police said in a statement to media. “However, the investigation is ongoing and investigators are trying to determine if high winds played a factor in Mr. Lemay’s death.”
