Police looking for man they say robbed Bronx cabbie

The NYPD said the robbery took place on Sunday afternoon on Fordham Road.

Police are looking for a man they say robbed a green livery cab driver in the Bronx on Sunday afternoon near Fordham Road.

The suspect got in the cab on East Fordham Road and Creston Avenue around 2:30 p.m.When the driver stopped the car about 500 feet down Creston Avenue, the suspect put his hand in a shopping bag and indicated he had a firearm, police said.

The suspect took $125 from the driver and fled. He is described as a 20-year-old man with braids and tattoos, last seen wearing a red baseball hat, white shirt and blue jeans.
