Suspect shoves Brooklyn judge into tree: Report

There is reportedly no motive in the unusual assault.

A 60-year-old man was assaulted earlier this week when an unknown man shoved him into a tree in Sheepshead Bay, cops said.

The victim was walking down East 16th Street near Avenue R just before 4 p.m. on Mondaywhen he was pushed, according to authorities.

The suspect is accused of pushing the 60-year-old, causing him to come in contact the tree, before fleeing on foot.

The victim suffered pain and redness to his left ear, but refused medical attention at the scene.

Identified by ABC 7 as Brooklyn Supreme Court Justice Leon Ruchelsman, though the motive is currently unclear, the victim does not believe it was robbery or that it was bias crime.

Police, who have released video footage of the suspect, described him as white male who as was wearing a gray sweat suit.
