Todd English hosts breast cancer benefit
A tasting menu by a James Beard Award-winning chef doesn’t come around for $65 often, so head to Ça Va Brasserie at the InterContinental Times Square on Wednesday, Oct. 21, for a five-course meal by chef Todd English. The special Breast Cancer Awareness Month menu (wine pairings are just $20 more) has a pink theme, with items like brioche-crusted wild salmon and raspberry-rose macaroons. English will be mingling with guests throughout the dinner, and 10 percent of the proceeds will go to the Wendy English Cancer Research Foundation, established by the chef after losing his sister in 2006 to breast cancer.
