Uber celebrating five years in NYC, giving away free pizza

ICYMI New Yorkers, we arecurrently in the middle of Uber’scelebration of their five-year anniversary in the city. They’regiving free pizza to customers in all five boroughs each day this week.

The company is promoting the ‘UberPizza Party’withfree slices from some of thebestpizzerias in each borough. All you have to do is show the Uber app on your phone when you order a slice, according to NBC New York.

“This week marks our fifth year in New York,” the company said in a statement on their website. “To show our thanks to this great city and its people, we’re kicking off a five-day celebration: fivedays celebrating fiveboroughs with $5 UberPOOLflat rates. And there’ll be pizza, too, of course.”

The festivities started on Monday in Staten Island and continue Tuesday in the Bronx, Wednesday in Queens, Thursday in Brooklyn and Friday in Manhattan.

Gothamist.com reports that the offer stands between 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. unless noted.Here are the participating locations:

Wednesday, May 4: Queens

Thursday, May 5: Brooklyn

Williamsburg Pizza in Williamsburg

Two Boots in Park Slope

Di Fara in Midwood (12-6 p.m.)

Friday, May 6: Manhattan

Two Boots in the East Village, the West Village, Hell’s Kitchen, Midtown East, the Upper East Side and the Upper West Side

Artichoke Basille’s Pizzeria in the East Village

Rizzo’s Fine Pizza in the Lower East Side
