Police are searching for eight suspects who robbed a Family Dollar store Saturday in Brooklyn, the NYPD said.

In surveillance video released by police Monday, some of the suspects can be seen entering the store at 2010 Atlantic Avenue at around 8:30 p.m. A 24-year-old male employee tried to stop others from coming in and a melee occurred after several suspects pushed their way out of the store with tower speakers.

The thieves made off with nine speakers, police said.

As the employee continued to try to stop the suspects, he was pushed and then beaten with handheld shopping baskets, police said. He suffered minor injuries.
