Make Memorial Day weekend one to remember.

Who needs the beach when you can have a pool with a conveniently located bar?The Beach at Dream Downtownofficially reopened this week. And for the first time, the Meatpacking hotel is offering day passes for anyone looking to sink their toes into their “beach” with imported sand, frozen drinks from Kelvin Slush Co. as well as large-format cocktails.

Over atJimmy at The James, Summer Pool Parties resumed last week. Beginning at 3 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday, top DJs will spin while you sip creative cocktails like Mezcal Micheladas and refuel with poolside bites including shrimp & lobster wontons.

Beach season returns this weekend, with the city’s sandy waterfront properties officially reopening for the season. Get there in air-conditioned, Sixpoint-and-candy-fueled comfort on the NYC Beach Bus, which will take you the rest of the way to Rockaway Beach and Jacob Riis Park, the new home of Brooklyn Night Bazaar, for $14 round-trip. Check the website for times and pickup locations.

Rockaway Tacois taking this summer off, but don’t fret — the chef behind the uber-popular spot, Andrew Field, has moved to the Rockaway Beach Surf Club to openTacoway Beach). The new tenant at Beach 96th Street will beSummer Shift, a pop-up restaurant by Rockaway Taco founderDavid Seligand design firm The MP Shift, featuring a rotating cast of Latin American-influenced chefs. Service begins this weekend with Peruvian fare from the crew fromChicks To Go. The offerings will be priced from $4 to $12 and served until 8 p.m. daily.

Also this weekend, the Smoragsburg empire expands to Coney Island with Coney Smorgasburg, at 1320 Bowery St. Beginning Saturday, the market will be open daily from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. with 12 vendors, including ice cream by Blue Marble, fried fresh anchovies from Bon Chovie, Mile End, Dan & John’s Wings, Jamaican-style caterer Excell Kingston Eatery and more, as well as two bars.

Brooklyn food rebelsDo or Dineare throwing adaylong partyon Sunday that begins as a mellow chill session and ramps up into a proper welcome for summer, set to the tunes of I Love Vinyl. Advance tickets are $15, or $30 including two rounds of food and two drinks. The menu (including drinks) changes every couple of hours, but there’s always barbecue to close out the night.

Hell’s Kitchen’s newest outdoor bar,Cantina Rooftop, will have specials all weekend long, beginning tonight with a pre-party for everyone off to the Hamptons. From 5-8 p.m., beers are $5 and margaritas are $6, with music by DJ Mike Bazzini + Wolf. On Saturday,Francis Mercierspins (doors at 10 p.m.), and on Sunday, Michael Cohen hosts the city’s longest-running summer rooftop party,Summer Camp, from 3-9 p.m., with frozen drink specials and music by David Serrano.

Summer’s newest boozy treat just debuted atBranch Ofc, the Crown Heights bar-and-pinball joint by Cristopher Buckley ofHanson Dry.Sloe-Cones ($6)are made with shaved ice, a generous pour of your choice of organically flavored syrups and a shot of something you won’t find in the kids version. There are three varieties:Sloelita(Sipsmith Sloe Gin, cherry),Hierba Buena(Monte Alban Mezcal, sweet lime, Tabasco sauce) andBohdi Brah(Cruzan Rum, pineapple). They’ll be around all summer on the bar’s newly opened backyard patio.

If you have just one drink speed for the season, 30 Rock’s outdoor terrace barSixtyFiveis hostingRosé All Dayon Monday, with $10 glasses of sparkling rosé and prosecco from 5 p.m. to midnight; find a new favorite with a flight of three for $15.

Get an Italian take on the traditional pig roast at the West Village’sSotto13with a pig roast brunch onMemorial Day. Chef Ed Cotton went nose to tail for his menu, with items including braised pigs head pizza, ham&eggs made with slow-roasted porchetta, barbecue pulled pork and more.

Rocco’s Tacos & Tequila Barin Brooklyn is extending its weekend brunch to Monday, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mimosas and Bloody Marys can be made bottomless for $12 with any entree – there are Mexican takes like the Benedict Azteca, with poached eggs in masa sopes, pork cochinitas and salsa rojo, as well as traditional options like French toast with agave-roasted bacon.

Maison Premiereis usually good for all your oyster needs, but this Monday it will open early at noon for a special barbecue,along with live music, until 5 p.m.

Tavern on the Greenmay still be figuring itself out more than a year after reopening, but beginning this Friday it’ll take advantage of its biggest asset – location – to open a beer garden on its front terrace. German-style favorites are the focus here, with a special menu of chicken schnitzel ($12), homemade soft pretzels ($7), the Tavern Burger ($18) and more (the beer selection, at three varieties is less impressive). Pull up at a picnic bench from noon to 1 a.m. on Friday and Saturday (11 p.m. the rest of the week).

Do the Southern take on the Memorial Day cookout withBirds & Bubbles’ Low Country Boil ($95), which is exactly what it sounds like: A pile of delicious things like shrimp, sausage, corn on the cob and other simple, seasonal grub goes into a pot, then gets served with seasonal slaw, fresh bread and whatever else is on hand on the restaurant’s newly opened outdoor patio. Your ticket also includes three glasses of sparkling wine and Champagne, as well as appetizers and dessert.

Narcissais switching up its fancy pants for some cutoffs for a three-day crawfish boil in the restaurant’s newly opened South Garden Terrace. This casual event — think picnic tables, newsprint and no utensils — will run you $25 for the crawfish, prepared Louisiana style, grilled andouille sausage, corn and pecan pie from noon to 8 p.m., with special prices on beer by the pint and pitches.
