Netflix’s ‘Luke Cage’ gets turned into ‘Family Matters’

If you were ever curious what it would be like to see Netflix’s Luke Cage reimagined as a 1990s sitcom, then you’re in luck.

YouTube user Zach Ace has masterfully edited the popular Netflix show with the theme music and similar shot selections as everyone’s favorite 1990s sitcom “Family Matters,” and the result will make you feel warm and fuzzy.
You normally wouldn’t think of a program as dark, gritty and complex as Luke Cage, being mashed up with the theme music from one of America’s most heartwarming sitcoms from the 1990s sitcoms, but for some reason it just works.
The official Luke Cage Twitter account appeared to be fond of the mashup and showed love by retweeting it.

Show creator Cheo Hodari Coker appreciated the show opening “remake” too.

Zach Ace is no stranger when it comes to remixing popular programs. Last month he produced “Avengers: Full House” and “Deadpool in Civil War.”

We’re looking forward to seeing what else he has up his sleeve.

As a bonus, you can also watch a side-by-cide clip featuring the “Family Matters” original opening with Zach’s “Luke Cage” creation.
