On the final episode of Jay Leno’s tenure as host of “TheTonight Show,” longtime friend Billy Crystal appeared as a guest. They chatted about their first meeting and where their careers have taken them since.
Then, as part of the farewell festivities, Crystal led a cast of celebrities in performing a modified version of “So Long, Farewell” from “The Sound of Music.”
Jack Black, Kim Kardashian, Sheryl Crow, Chris Paul, Jim Parsons, Carol Burnett and Oprah Winfrey all bid Leno farewell in this special celebrity rendition of the Broadway classic. The highlight of the show was Oprah’s performance, when she suggests Leno should buy everyone in the audience a new car.
