VIDEO: Man finds stranger who saved him from suicide

Jonny Benjamin was diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder at the age of 20.

In January 2008, he went to London’s Waterloo Bridge to commit suicide, but a stranger stopped him.

Six years later, Benjamin set out to find and thank the man who saved his life. He named the stranger “Mike” and shared his story with thousands of people on Facebook.

Just two days later, Neil Laybourn’s wife heard Benjamin’s story and knew her husband was “Mike.”

Benjamin and Laybourn reunited, and Benjamin finally thanked him.

Though Benjamin was nervous about the meeting, Laybourn said he was excited. He said he had often thought about Benjamin and wondered how he was doing, The Telegraph reported.
