Driving standards in parts of China are notoriously low — but a new video has emerged that gives one Chinese rider the claim to the title of World’s Worst Motorcyclist.
In the video a man dressed in white riding a scooter crashes into two cars, another motorcycle, a truck and finally into a huge hole in the road — in the space of about a minute.
The video, uploaded this morning, first shows the rider crashing into a car, causing his passenger to fall off. Seconds later, after remounting the machine, he loses control of the throttle again and biffs into the front of a second car.
After a minor dispute, undaunted, he gets back in the saddle — only to lose control again, hurtling towards a group of other bikers and becoming entangled with one of them.
Freeing himself, he careens into a truck. At this stage the rider gets off the bike, clutching his side. He staggers around the street for a few seconds before remounting his machine — only to come a spectacular cropper as he loses control for the fourth time and plunges into a massive hole by the side of the road being used for street repairs.
It is not known if the man was injured.
