Woman sought in attempted robbery

Peel police are looking for a woman who tried to rob a Brampton cabbie using a toy gun Wednesday.

It started at about 6:45 p.m. when the driver picked up the woman at Bramalea City Centre, police said. The passenger then pulled out a gun and demanded cash from the driver. When the victim refused, the suspect ran out of the car, leaving behind an imitation plastic hand gun. She is described as white, about 18, 5-foot-2 with shoulder-length brown hair, wearing a white coat.
