South Street’s Bloktoberfest is coming back to Philly for its eighth year on Oct. 15 from noon to 9 p.m. for a neighborhood fest in celebration of beer, music, food and Philly. Bloktoberfest is an all-ages, free to attend event.
The festival is sticking to its traditions by hauling in heaps of premium craft beers, yummy food and live music from popular area bands. All of these family-friendly activities will cover over four blocks of South Street.
If you’re thirsty, there will be a premium beer station at 15th and South with beer stations at each intersection throughout the block party. To make it even better, all proceeds from the beer sales go to a variety of charities, which involve the education, green space, public safety and community development for the neighborhood that hosts the event yearly. So, you can have a rad time while raising money for charity.
