Danny's Leather, Adult and Video Shop in Center City was the scene of a shooting early Saturday that left an employee shot in the back.

Police released the video on Saturday in a bid to identify the suspect. No motive for the shooting was reported by police.

The shooting occurred just before 4 a.m. at the adult store, which is located on 13th Street between Sansom and Walnut and is open 24 hours a day.

The shooter entered the store at 3:38 a.m., walked through and left, police said, but immediately returned, pulling out a silver revolver.

In the video, the shooter can be seen drawing his weapon after approaching an employee of the store -- who immediately fights back, reaching to grab the shooter's wrist and pushing him back.

"A struggle ensued and the victim was ultimately shot one time in the back," police said.

The shooter got off one shot as he left, hitting the employee in the back.

The suspect is described as a black male, about 5'7"-5'9", thin build, wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt with USA on the front and glasses.

Anyone with any information about the shooting is being asked to call 911 immediately, or 215.686.TIPS (8477) or text a tip to PPD TIP (773847).
