UNWANTED DEPOSIT: SUV slams into Philly bank
At least three occupants of a white SUV that slammed into a North Philadelphia bank fled on foot Thursday morning, police said.
The crash happened around 2 a.m. at the United Bank of America branch at Broad and Jefferson streets; a parked car was also hit and an ATM badly damaged.
The cash remained safely inside.
Cops are investigating whether the vehicle, which was speeding before the crash was stolen and don’t think it was robbery attempt.
