Philadelphia police are investigating an incident of sexual assault at the Made in America Festival that took place last weekend in the Art Museum area.

The incident allegedly occurred around 9 p.m. Sunday night, near 24th Street and the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, CBS Philly reported. The victim, a16-year-old girl, said she was watching a performer on stage when a man walked up behind her, pulled down her jean shorts and sexually assaulted her.

The suspect fled once the girl screamed.

“She was transported over to a medical tent that was in the facility itself and then from there she was transported over to [the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia]to be examined,” Lt. Stanford said.
