Young ballet fans danced their way into the ballroom at the Doubletree Hotel yesterday for Tea with the Sugarplum Fairy. There was face-painting, photo ops, and a classic sit-down tea with sandwiches and cakes, before everyone headed across the street to the Academy of Music for the Pennsylvania Ballet’s performance of “George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker.”
The tea party is happening again Dec. 19 at noon. Tickets for the tea and performance start at $67. Reserve a seat at Paballet.org.
