Damon Oliver, 40, turned himself in Wednesday to face charges of simple assault and terroristic threats for punching a 17-year-old girl in the face on the 15 trolley on Jan. 21.

Oliver allegedly lost his temper near 7th and Girard around 7:47 a.m. after the girl accidentally bumped him with her bookbag.

Following a verbal altercation between the two, Oliver allegedly punched the victim, then fled the trolley.

The victim suffered a broken nose, swollen right eye and scratches to her. She was treated at Jeferson Hospital.

Oliver, of the 2200 block of North Carlisle Street in North Philly, is also charged with recklessly endangering another person.
