The suddenly reeling Revs need to get back on track Saturday (7:30, CSN) in Columbus, Ohio as they take on the Crew in a highly important contest. Both New England (6-7-6, 24 points) and Columbus (6-8-5) sit just outside the Eastern Conference playoff picture as both are chasing the Houston Dynamo, who are in fifth place. The top five teams in each conference make the postseason in the MLS playoffs.

The Revolution did themselves no favors Wednesday night when they fell to the Rapids in Colorado, 2-1. The loss could certainly come back to haunt to the playoff-seeking Revs as they had a one-goal lead courtesy of Juan Tojoa’s first goal as a New England player. Toja scored on a free kick.

It was the first time this season the Revs have suffered back-to-back losses as they also fell to Houston at hom last Saturday, 2-1. Saer Sene did not play Wednesday due to a hip contusion.
