If you’re anything like us, the first thing you do when you fire up a new version of Madden is do a fantasy draft and start a franchise.

And if you’re building for the long haul, you’re wanting to snatch young players with high potential at the right time. 

Madden recently released it’s rankings for first rounders taken in the 2017 NFL draft and some (like Myles Garrett’s 83 overall rating) are not surprising, while some (like Haason Reddick rated worst at 73 overall) may be to fans.

Here’s a look at the 32 first round picks and how Madden developers think they stack up for their upcoming game — released on August 25:
