What to know about Liverpool and Leicester.

This is the second time in four days that Liverpool will meet Leicester.

The two met in the English League Cup where Leicester, currently in 15th in the Premier League, came away with a surprising 2-0 win.

It’s been an underwhelming start for Liverpool, which has not won a Premier League match since beating Arsenal 4-0 in late August.

Since then, the Reds were beaten by Manchester City 6-0 before drawing to Burnley last weekend and dropping five points back of the league leaders.

Mohamed Salah has been Liverpool’s go-to guy with three goals this season. That’s tied for fifth-best among all Premier League scorers.

Leicester has yet to win a league match this month also after a loss to Chelsea and a draw to Huddersfield. The 2015/16 champions have just four points this year and only sit outside the relegation zone because of their “superior” goal differential of minus-2.
