Why did the Cubs celebrate sixth inning homer with ‘junk bump?’

Cubs catcher David Ross blasted a sixth inning solo shot into centerfieldWednesday night and the internet got… confused.

In the aftermath of the blast — which put the Cubs ahead 6-3 in the 7th and decisive game of the 2016 World Series against the Indians in Cleveland, Ross and several teammates, including Jason Hayward and a bevy of Chicago players in the dugout — appeared to tap their genitals in jubilation.

Were they “bumping junk,” going “tip to tip,” was it a “penis bump” or a “d tap?”

We can only hope someone asksin the days following the end of the dramatic series.

The celebration was awkward to watch, but even more awkward when seeing how nearly every member of the team was completely comfortable and expecting to celebrate in this manner.
