University of Delaware Police breaks Internet with #CoplineBling song

It seems like everyone has made their own version of Drake’s hit song Hotline Bling, but the University of Delaware Police Department may have created the best one yet.

In an effort to remind students that they are being protected and served, University of Delaware officers created a hilarious public safetyvideo highlighting their services on campus and to encourage students to downloadtheir “LiveSafe” app.

The video also showcased some slick (?) dance moves by the police officers. There is also cameo appearance by UD’s mascot, YoUDee.

The video was posted to the University of Delaware’s Facebook page on Friday and has more than 700,000 page views.

Last week, in similar fashion, the Philadelphia Police department created a Drake inspired animated .GIF meme as a campaign against “savesies” – the practice of saving empty parking with cones, chairs, or other objects. Although the Philadelphia Police Department’s 30-second clip was funny, we hate to admit that the University of Delaware’s video is an instant classic.
