VIDEO: Oregon couple announces pregnancy with ‘Fresh Prince’ rap

Here’s a pregnancy announcement video we’re sure you haven’t seen before.

An Oregon couple recently announced their pregnancy by making a video of them rapping to the them music from “The Fresh Prince of Bel- Air.”

Jesse Meek, 31, and his wife, Melissa, 28 posted this fun video on April 5 to let there friends and family in on the good news. Since the video was posted, it has gone viral with almost 2 million views.

“It was completely unexpected. Like, that was the last thing we thought would happen, that it would blow up to what it had, or what it has,” Melissa tellsFOX 12 Oregon.

According to FOX 12, it took the couple five takes to get the lyrics right to the beat.

The best line from the clip comes from Melissa:

“I woke up in the morning about 7 or 8 and thought to myself,oh man, I’m late! Looked at the test stick, it was finally there. A little plus sign – we’re now three, not a pair.” That’s an instant classic.

Expect to hear more from the Meeks. The couple mentioned they might create another video once they find out the baby’s gender. Let’s hope they don’t jump the shark with their next clip.
