Watch Hillary Clinton struggle with New York City MetroCard

Politicians — they’re just like us!

Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton proved that sentiment Thursday morning when she struggled to successfully swipe a New York City MetroCard at a subway turnstile.

Clinton needed to swipe her MetroCard a whopping five times at the 161st Street station near Yankee Stadium before making it into the subway system, New York Magazine reported.

Afterwards, Clinton reportedly caught an uptown 4 train and rode it two stops to 170th Street.

The incident, which was caught by the media, as well as Clinton’s subway journey, set Twitter ablaze.

Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. joined Clinton Thursday morning, when she reportedly told the media that she’s “so proud to have represented this state.“

”New York values, the people of New York, there is no place like it in the world, and I’m going to take those experiences, take those values to the White House,“ she said.
