One person died and six people wereinjured when a Coca-Cola truck crashed into a Bronx building Monday afternoon, fire officials said.
The truck hit scaffolding before it slammed into the building at East 138thStreet and Willow Avenue in the Port Morrison section at around 3:20 p.m.,according to FDNY.Pictures from local media outlets showed the red Coca-Cola truck stuck underneath the scaffolding. A woman who was among a group of pedestrians struck by the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene, published reports said.
