3 suspects arrested for sexually assaulting woman leaving Queens church

Three of four suspects have been arrested for sexually assaulting a women as she left a Queens church.

Three of four men who sexually assaulted a woman as she left a Queens church Tuesday night have been arrested, police said.

Brandon Walker, 20, Justin Williams, 17, and Julisses Ginel, 19, were taken into custody Thursday night. All three, who live in the same group home in Queens, the New York Daily News reported, were charged with robbery, criminal sex act, criminal use of a firearm and sex abuse, while Walker and Williams were also charged with menacing.

According to the police report, the 50-year-old victim was approached by two armed men as she left the Celestial Church of Christ near 150th Street and Beaver Avenue around 11 p.m.

The unidentified woman told the Daily News that she gave the suspects her MetroCard, cellphone and some cash, but was told to take off her clothes by the suspects before being taken behind a nearby garbage truck and ordered to perform oral sex on the men, who had been joined by two others.

She initially claimed to be HIV-positive to deter her attackers, one of whom ran off to obtain a condom, but “they said, ‘If you don’t do that, I’ll shoot you,’ so I did what I had to do,” the woman said.

She was assaulted by three of the four men before they all fled. The victim was taken to Queens General Hospital, where she was treated and later released.

A condom found at the scene and the woman’s sweater are under DNA evaluation.

Walker, Williams and Ginel were identified through surveillance footage taken near the crime scene and arrested at their group home, where police found two imitation pistols in their rooms, one of which they believe was used during the assault.

The fourth suspect, a 20-year-old, is still be sought.
