Lulu’s Allston

The delicious fried potato pancakes are a staple of Hanukkah, and chef Sarah Wade is putting her own spin on the treat with eight days of specials. Stop by Lulu’s Allston this Hanukkah 2018 season to try all sorts of latkes, including a red beet version with spiced sour cream and apple chutney, a carrot and parsnip latke with harissa cream and toasted pistachios or the apple and potato latkes with cumin lime yogurt. Maccabee Bar

Better Sorts Social Club is getting into the Hanukkah spirit with an awesome pop-up bar. In celebration of the Festival of Lights, a Maccabee Bar will set up shop at the venue all week long. Museum of Fine Arts

As the Festival of Lights kicks into full gear, the MFA is hosting a Hanukkah 2018 celebration on Wednesday night. Take a trip to the museum and enjoy a night of art, live music and family-friendly activities. A special menorah created by local artists Silvina Mizrahi and Sean Clarke will also be on display.
