ATCO opened its first Blue Flame Kitchen Learning Centre yesterday with a bang — or at least a few flames.
Chefs flambéed cherries for ice cream in addition to serving several other creations from the new facility kitchen.
The state-of-the-art facility will offer cooking lessons, as well as education classes on safety and sustainability from a team of experts.
“I hope people will take advantage of the many learning opportunities being offered,” said Nancy Southern, president and CEO of ATCO Group.
Classes will be taught to adults and families as well as to school groups.
