Now these are the Red Sox we were expecting to see.
After last night’s 4-2 win in Anaheim, Boston is on its second three-game winning streak in a week. They have two left against L.A. (9:05 p.m. tonight and 3:35 p.m. tomorrow) before a day off and a trip to Baltimore.
Are there still negatives? Sure. Carl Crawford stinks (.190 OBP!), Jason Varitek is worse and the pitching staff as a whole remains a bit less than overwhelming.
But who cares? The Red Sox are winning again. It’s going to be a fun summer.
