Two men wanted for robbing a man and sexually assaulting a woman at the Heritage LRT Station early Sunday morning are now in police custody, officials said.
A Calgary Police Service spokesperson said the apprehended individuals are youths and thus cannot be identified.
Police are still searching for the male victim, who was seen being robbed but has yet to formally report a crime to police.
Police learned of the incidents after a woman arrived at the Sheldon M. Chumir Health Centre in the city’s downtown around 3:40 a.m. Sunday morning, reportedly a few hours after the assault occurred.
She did not suffer any significant injuries, police said.
More information about the incident is expected to be released later today.
