Bike advocates happy cycling becomes election issue

Cycling has not been a major issue during the current municipal election, but the president of Citizens for Safe Cycling is nonetheless “thrilled to see candidates and voters taking cycling seriously in this campaign.”

Hans Moor has been at the forefront of making cycling safer for the citizens of Ottawa and has reached out to every candidate for their stance on cycling safety.

Some of the ideas that Moor has put forward include converting old parking meters to bike racks and safe detours.
