BLIZZARD party to kick off with Boston’s first snowfall of the season

As a Nor’easter approaches New England with an intention of dropping snow and rain on the region, The Boston Ski & Sports Club will celebrate the start of the ski season with its annual BLIZZARD party at Royale Boston on Tremont Street.

The event will be hosted by Sue Brady from Mix 104.1, Earle Pitt of the Mountain Report, and Dirty Water TV, and will feature “ski appetizers,” “snow bars” and “shot skis,” as well as dancing, drink specials, ski exhibitors and previews of the year’s ski and ride films.

Some guests will also win lift ticket giveaways from Wachusett, Sugarbush and Crotched Mountain.

The Boston Ski & Sports Club will announce its ski season lineup, trips and ski vacations. The first 500 guests will get goody bags filled with lift tickets and special deals.

The party starts at 5:30 p.m., and tickets can be purchased for $15 in advance, or $20 at the door.

The member-based organization, has been around for decades, offering thousands of sports leagues, social events, ski trips, and adventure travel for over 50,000 socially active professionals throughout the Boston-area.
