Boston University police are seeking the public’s help identifying the person they believe posted neo-Nazi fliers on campus this week.

The department released video footage on Thursday which appears to show the suspect putting up a poster outside theYawkey Center for Student Services on Bay State Road.

The footage was recorded around 9:44 p.m. on Saturday, April 30, according to police.

Anyone with information about the suspect has been asked to contact BU police at 617-353-3436, via email at bupolice@bu.edu. The department accepts anonymous tips via text message at 847411 (type “BU,” add a space, then send the message).

This comes after students over the weekend discovered posters with hate-filled messages advertising anonline forum for fascists and declaring “The Nazis are coming!” and “Black Lives Don’t Matter.”

BU President Robert Brown condemned the fliers this week, and students organized a rally in opposition to the posters’ message Wednesday night.
