Another day, another few T stations reopened by beleaguered MBTA

Limited Rail and Bus service is available Friday.

Here’s the latest on the T, as the MBTA continues the arduous task of restoring full service, station-by-station, to the snow-clobbered system.

RED LINE
Red Line train service has been restored on the Ashmont branch as well as from JFK/UMass to North Quincy Stations on the Braintree branch. Train service will be available from Alewife to Ashmont as well as from Alewife to North Quincy, but rail service will remain suspended between North Quincy and Braintree Stations on Friday, February 20. There will be no Red Line train service between North Quincy and Braintree with limited substitute bus service will be provided. Service will be fully restored on the rest of the Braintree branch on Monday, February 23, 2015.

Orange Line
Limited Orange Line train service has resumed between Oak Grove and Wellington stations. All trains will operate between Forest Hills and Oak Grove stations.

Green Line
Green Line B branch trolleys will operate between Blandford Street and Lechmere only on Friday, February 20. There will be no service west of Blandford Street Station on the B branch. Limited trolley service will also run in both directions along the C, D, and E branches.

  • Along the B branch, limited shuttle bus service will continue to be available between Kenmore and Boston College, making all station stops. Route 57 bus service operates its regular route, making stops between Packards Corner and Kenmore. Service will be restored on Monday, February 23, 2015.

  • Along the C branch, limited trolley service will run in both directions between Cleveland Circle and North Station.

  • Along the D branch, limited trolley service will run in both directions between Riverside and Park Street.

  • Along the E branch, limited trolley service will run in both directions between Heath Street and Lechmere.

BLUE LINE
Limited Blue Line train service is operating between Bowdoin and Wonderland Stations. MBTA passengers may also park in available Massport parking at Suffolk Downs and board Massport employee shuttles either to Airport terminals or to the Blue Line Airport station.

MATTAPAN TROLLEY
Service on the Mattapan Trolley will remain suspended on Friday, February 20. Limited shuttle bus service will be provided. Service will be restored on Friday, February 27, 2015.
