Claude Julien will remain as head coach of the Boston Bruins despite the team missing the playoffs in back-to-back seasons.
Julien has been at the B’s helm since 2007-08, making him the longest tenured head coach currently in the NHL.
“I believe in Claude as a coach,” Bruins GM Don Sweeney said at a Thursday press conference. “I think our core principles align very well.”
