Four robbery suspects who were involved in an armed standoff Wednesday night in Dorchester are due in court today, WHDH reported. The four armed suspects reportedly locked themselves in a house on Roach Street after robbing a store down the street from the home. Witnesses were able to direct investigators to where the men went with the “few hundred dollars,” WHDH reported. There are no reports stating if the woman and child knew the suspects.
“They surrounded it, secured the building – at that point, we had information that the suspects were in there,” Boston Police Commissioner William Evans explained.
The standoff lasted an hour before the woman and the young child were released, and no one was injured.
