Boston Police SWAT paid an early morning visit to a home on Gordan Avenue in Hyde Park on Wednesday morning, looking for a gun thought to be connected to a shooting two weeks prior.
Police obtained a search warrant andkicked down Malachi Scott’s door at about 4:45 a.m. hoping to find a gun used in a broad daylight shooting on Tremont Street at about 3 p.m. on Oct. 28. One person suffered a non-life threatening gunshot wound. Malachi, 19, of 58 Gordan Avenue will appear in Roxbury District Court on charges of Assault with Intent to Murder, Assault and Battery by means of a Dangerous Weapon and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm.
