A partially deceased body was found in East Boston Friday, State Police confirmed.
Police did nothave any identifying information, but said the body was found at 4:45 p.m. in Belle Isle Marsh and had likely been there for some time.
The corpse was found in a part of the marsh off Bennington Street across from the Suffolk Downs MBTA stop, WCVB reported.

A WBZ reporter said State Police were still on scene, as they had not determined manner or cause of death.
"Condition of the body indicates vicitm has been deceased for some time. Hopefully eventually autopsy will provide more information," a State Police source told WBZ.
The Suffolk County district attorney's office is taking over the investigation, but no one there was immediately availabel for comment.
