Police seize drugs, cash and ammunition in South Boston busts

Three individuals were arrested Monday after police found hundreds of bags of drugs, thousands in cash and ammunition during three separate busts in South Boston.

During the first incident on Feb. 12, members of the District C-6 Neighborhood Drug Control Unit executed a search warrant at 433 Old Colony Ave., where officers seized about 600 bags of heroin and more than $1,000 in cash, according to police. Tahkeese Brown, 44, was taken into custody and charged with trafficking heroin.

Just up the road, police executed another search at 419 Old Colony Ave. where they confiscated 14 plastic bags of crack cocaine, seven bags of marijuana and more than 300 rounds of ammunition, authorities said. Police arrested Khalea Morrison, 24, and charged him with possession with intent to distributed cocaine and the unlawful possession of ammunition.

The third search warrant was executed at 21 O’Callaghan Way, according to police, where officers found 25 plastic bags of crack cocaine and 17 bags of heroin. Latoya Bradley was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute heroin and cocaine.
