Brampton defeats Oshawa 3-2

OSHAWA, Ont. – Sam Carrick had a goal and an assist as the Brampton Battalion defeated the host Oshawa Generals 3-2 on Saturday in Ontario Hockey League action.

Brenden Miller and Barclay Goodrow also scored for the Battalion (27-12-9) while Cameron Wild chipped in with two assists.

Christian Thomas and Nicklas Jensen had a goal apiece for the Generals (21-22-5), who lost in regulation for the first time in four outings.

Keegan Wilson made 25 saves for the win while Kevin Bailie stopped 34 of 37 shots in defeat.

Both teams were 0 for 4 on the power play.
