British Open Final Round Live Chat

The leaders are queing up (like how we dropped a little Britishism in there) for the final round of The Open Championship at Royal St. George’s in Sandwich, England.

Northern Ireland’s Darren Clarke sits in the lead at -5, his first legitimate shot at a major in years. Having lost his wife to cancer, he’ll be an emotional favorite of many. Then there’s American Dustin Johnson, at -4, the tragic figure of 2010, who melted down in the final round of the U.S. Open then blew the PGA Championship by grounding his club in a bunker on the 72nd hole of the tournament.

Also in the mix at -2 is young gun Ricky Fowler, decked out in his horrid orange outfit and Thomas Bjorn, who recently lost his father, and who is trying to answer the demons of a late collapse on this very course in the 2003 Open. The weather is bound to play a role as wind and rain are forecast. How will it all play out? Follow along as Metro and TheSandTrap.com present The Open Championship Live Chat.
