While there are no Bruins players on Team USA as the Winter Olympics in Sochi draw closer, the B’s will be well represented in February.
Boston defenseman Zdeno Chara is the captain for Slovakia, Patrice Bergeron will represent Canada, Tuukka Rask will represent Finland, David Krejci will represent the Czech Republic and Loui Eriksson will be a fixture for Sweden.
Bruins head coach Claude Julien will be an assistant for Team Canada, which captured the gold medal in the 2010 Winter games.
In somewhat of a surprise, Milan Lucic was not selected to represent Canada.
