There’s no parade planned just yet, but some Canucks fans think our team has the best chance in the NHL at taking home the Stanley Cup, according to a new poll.
• One in five people polled by Ipsos Reid — or 21 per cent of respondents — said they think the Vancouver Canucks are going to win the Stanley Cup.
• The next most likely team chosen to win was Detroit, with 17 per cent of Vancouverites picking the Red Wings to take the trophy.
• This was followed by San Jose at 14 per cent, Boston at 10 per cent and Calgary at seven per cent.
• Fans also gave the team a B for its performance this season and voted Roberto Luongo as the regular season MVP and fan favourite.

• Round 1 of Canucks playoffs will also be broadcast live on the 7.5-metre-high LED screen at Canada Place.
• To make sure fans and residents are safe, and that celebrations are under control on game nights, Abbotsford police are putting extra officers on the street.
