Celtics cool off Heat, push win streak to 4

That mid-November slump sure seems like a long time ago for the Celtics.

Boston closed the month with a 92-85 victory over the Miami Heat last night, blowing a big lead before storming back in the waning minutes.

Kevin Garnett scored a team-high 24 points and added eight rebounds for the C’s. Miami’s Dwyane Wade had 27 points.

The C’s have won four straight since suffering an 83-78 loss to the Magic on Nov. 20. It’s their first four-game win streak since the seven-gamer that lasted through Nov. 4.

Cleveland, widely considered the clubhouse leader in the Eastern Conference, was off yesterday. The Central Division-leading Cavs are 12-5 overall.
