Twenty-four hours after nearly everything went down for the Celtics, they couldn't throw a marble into a Jacuzzi Saturday night as they fell to the Bucks in Milwaukee, 92-85.
The C's went 4-of-19 from 3-point range in the loss and fell to 7-12 on the season. The Bucks won just their third game of the year, improving to 3-13.
Jared Sullinger led the way for the Celtics with 21 points and 14 rebounds.
What they'll be saying: The Celtics are certainly not yet a team that can put together strong performances on back-to-back nights, no matter the competition. A night after pounding the Cavs, the C's looked more like the lottery-bound team many expected them to be a month ago when the season began. Boston held a 27-19 lead after one quarter but struggled the rest of the way as they couldn't buy a bucket in the final three quarters.
